HOW TO USE THESE HELFUL TOOLS IN A LESSON PLAN : Mind 42, Mailvu, YouThink and BrainShark.

Technology has been evolved throughout the years, as well as teaching; nowadays it exits a lot of tools or applications very useful in teaching process.
Some helpful tools to use in a lesson plan are: Mind 42, Mailvu, You Think and BranShark.

Mind 42:

Teachers can use it to create a mind mapping about wherever topic, this means that you can create a diagram to visualize outline information, insert text or images, I mean, you can add images from URL and add notes to branches between other things, for example, teachers can upload pictures and ask students to guess their meaning. Also, it could be helpful to teach vocabulary or to summarize a explication of concepts and ideas in order to help students to remember main points, also you can ask them to develop an activity in which they can summarize a topic between other things.

Mailvu:

It´s an online video recording and very useful to create a video emails, allows teachers and students make an easy online video for about 10 minutes and share it. One advantage is that you don´t need to register, you can send it to others and also you can delete them. In addition, teachers  can send full length videos via video text or video emails so quickly; using this tool, students can improve their listening and speaking skills. Also, you can use Mailvu to give feedback to send it to your students by a quickly message or  you can record a video email in Mailvu to make a short presentation about a specific topic or ask students to make a homework in this new technological tool. In addition, this tool is very helpful for developing their speaking, listening, and for visual learners, etc. In fact you can create a video email for many teaching purposes.

You Think:

I really like this tool because you can do a lot of thing here, you can use it to ask your students to develop several activities; for example, this tool is very useful to create quizzes, articles, personality tests, ask and answer questions, profiles, forums, journals, etc. For example, teacher can ask students to practice a quizz, in this case the teacher can add many questions as possible and also to assign homework to them, for example ask students to write a journal about their childhood if you are teaching the simple past, etc.

BrainShark:

It  allows you to create online video presentations, and add sound to Power Point presentations, share documents, explain meanings, etc. for example, teachers can transform a power point  or word presentation into voiced presentation and share it through androids cell phones, ipads, pc, etc. This applications is  very helpful because it could be useful to teach a class for example as a manner of  have a personal interaction with students by online tools. BrainShark is appropriated for using in speaking activities, for example students can record a video and the teacher can check their pronunciation, fluency, grammar and any other issue and it´s very helpful for audio-visual  and kinesthetic learners.
In fact, this is my favorite tool because students can develop all the macro skills, because they have to listen, type and speak what they have to present. So, personally, I would really like to use this tool in my lesson plan.

Word Google:

This tools allows you to share documents on internet and everyone can have access to your work from anywhere in the world. It´s great because neither students nor you  have problems  to see the works from anywhere and you have the opportunity to share it on internet without any cost.

To summarize,  there are several
tools could be very helpful to develop our lesson plans and use them for making control, semi control and free practice activities in order to help students to improve their skills, ability of thinking, etc, by developing a lot of activities; nowadays, teachers have the opportunity to develop their teaching very different than the past, they not only have to use the traditional exams or ways to evaluate their student, but they have new ways to have an interactive and interesting class and manners to develop our lesson, as teachers we have to take advantages of using technology to educational purposes, because if we as teachers have a meaningful class, obviously, students can improve their skills and learning process and our objectives are going to be successful.
